Muse at the Mill Events is located in the historic Hoots Milling Company Roller Mill. The Hoots Milling Company Roller Mill was built around 1935 by Zeno Daniel Hoots and his brother, Guy Andrew Hoots. Hoots Milling Company Roller Mill is Winston Salem’s sole surviving facility erected in the twentieth century to process and store grain. Muse at the Mill has named each room of the Venue with purpose, history and intention to capture the true character of this historic Industrial Haven. Between the ceremony space named “The Hoots” and the gorgeous bridal suite named “The Lula” representing the couple tied to the Venue’s original story, you’ll find it hard to pick a favorite. From the moment you enter the doors of Muse at the Mill you’ll be greeted by the history around every corner, from the mobile bar front made completely out of materials from the original mill to the sliding bridal suite door. Each intricate detail tells a story, and has been hand crafted, repurposed, and reused to maintain the true character of this beautiful space and create an awe-inspiring event experience for you.
