For southern girls this dreams creates a lifelong goal that you in turn daydream about. Now you’re all grown up and you’ve found your prince charming! After spending months, maybe even years imagining and creating your perfect wedding, it’s finally over. You’ve obsessed most of your life for that beautiful moment that has now ended.Just because your princess moment has ended, doesn’t mean the memory is over. You wake up to your prince every morning! Add a little extra decor elements to your home today. Turn your centerpieces into accent pieces for your home. 2. Keep your guests close

I’ve seen the prettiest painted guestbook to the most ingenious engraved woodwork furniture as a forever reminder of the people who shared that special day with you. 3. Upcycle the china
In 2017, the goal is to have both a beautiful and affordable wedding. As you know everyone doesn’t always follow the crowd. Did you buy that gorgeous china set for your small and intimate wedding? Don’t feel bad, be proud. That was a huge commitment! The struggle arises when that china doesn’t match a thing in your home. Upcycle your gorgeous china into a new party tray or decorative statue for your garden. The possibilities are endless!

One of the most expensive costs of a wedding is the flowers. If you’re a girly girl like me, your wedding will be covered in flowers. From the aisle decorations to the bridesmaids’ bouquets, there will be plenty of flowers to freshen the occasion. Don’t throw all that beauty away, preserve it! Your bouquet can be preserved to last another lifetime on display or just freshen your home for the week after your wedding. The choice is yours.
6. Shadowbox the dress
Even though the flowers are beautiful, the real star of the show was you in your gorgeous dress. Why choose a gorgeous dress and only use it for a day? Put that beautiful dress on display and get all the bang for your buck. Put your wedding dress, shoes, and any other special garments on display. Not only will you love seeing your gown on a daily basis, but so will your hubby! And if not, why not just display it in your closet?
7. Savor the moments
Another huge expense of your special day was making sure every moment was captured. The photographers did an amazing job at catching the true smiles and happy tears. Don’t keep those pictures hidden away in your home, savor the moments! These gorgeous photos can be hung sporadically around your home or turned into a floor to ceiling photo gallery. Whichever you prefer, grab some frames and hang ’em up!

The reception is a huge party for most southern belles. There’s food, drinks, and music to celebrate with all your family and friends. There’s the gorgeous display table as you walk through the doors and of course the life of the party will be inside. If you have any DIY elements in your reception like gorgeous bar or even a small sign, reuse that in you and your partner’s first home together.
9. Once a party, always a party
Some party elements always give a party feel. There’s nothing wrong with that. Check out these gorgeous wedding table set ups that can definately be saved and used for a future dinner party. Reuse your Mr. and Mrs. table decor on your first anniversary dinner together, even create a tradition. Your first Christmas together is bond to be big deal. Two families coming together as one, or in some cases, just the two of you. It will be almost as special as your big day.
