5 Reasons the Bride Loved Having an Outdoor Southern Wedding
1. God’s best work is outdoors. Since our wedding was destination, we didn’t have a home Church to get married in but our outdoor set up felt just as spiritual.
2. It was a beautiful way to honor our upbringing–my small town roots and Jumaane’s suburban ties.
3. Allowed much more flexibility with the size of our wedding party and guest list. 10 groomsmen, 11 bridesmaids, and 180 guests yet somehow it all felt intimate and small by comparison.
4. We knew we’d have a reprieve with an indoor reception. Our venue offered the unique benefit of outdoor and indoor spaces that we took full advantage of.
5. It’s just beautiful. The Outdoor Southern Wedding allowed us to seek out the area’s natural beauty and make still make it very personal to us.
