What services do you provide? We manufacture non-toxic and nature cleaning products.
Why did you decide to start a business? My daughter was the driving force as she has very sensitive skin. When she was born the cleaning/laundry products that were available still posed serious issues. Consequently, I didna��t want my daughter to continue to be exposed to chemicals in our cleaning products.
Before you owned a business, what did you do? I was and am still a public health communications strategist.
What is your favorite client story? From multiple parents, I have heard how their children a�?dislikea�? me because now they have found a product line safe enough for their children to engage in household chores that include cleaning.
What is the most interesting client request you have had? To customize a scent for them!
What is the most important thing you have done to build your business? I have listened to my customers and used their feedback to improve feedback.A� I also continue to be very responsive and strive to always provide excellent customer service.
Who are some of your business idols? Madam C.J. Walker, Sheila Johnson, Cathy Hughes, Oprah
Do you have any mentors? I dona��t but I would love to have some! This journey requires mentors at some point.
What is your favorite thing about being southern? Hospitality. I love cooking for family and friends. It truly makes me happy.
What is your favorite southern entrees or sides? Why? a�?Reala�? ice tea, red velvet cake, fried chicken, collard greens and gumbo. Real cooks in the south pour their love and energy into their food.A�
What is your favorite item or piece of clothing to wear/use while doing business? I love wearing vintage dresses from the 1950a��s when meeting new clients! I feel empowered, strong yet uber feminine!

If the ingredients do not appear on the label or you are unable to pronounce them, run! There should be no secrets and all ingredients should be relatively familiar to you.

Your nose, eyes and skin will not deceive you. Conventional cleaning products can irritate our skin and eyes and negatively impact our breathing.

Get your children and other family members involved to make green cleaning a priority.A� From reading labels to coming up with new recipes, give everyone an assignment.
