Food and Hospitality. I moved to Charlotte in 2008, from New York City by way of Detroit (my hometown) and there were so many dishes I’d never tried or even heard of before moving to the south; pimento cheese, shrimp and grits and barbecue brisket. Now these dishes have gone mainstream and I completely understand why. There is so much soul and love that goes into traditional southern dishes. I’m hooked!
The people! Charlotte is the epitome of southern hospitality and it has been a wonderful journey building my business in the Queen City. The wedding and special events industry in Charlotte is like family!
