What is your personal life motto: “You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar” It helps me remember to keep a good attitude because being cranky never makes anything better.
What is the most challenging professional obstacle you have had? After I graduated I accepted an offer with a financial services company to work in the marketing department. I and worked really hard to get this offer and I thought that I would be happy working there, but I soon realized that I really wanted to to be in retail. It was really hard for me to walk away from a place that I was doing so well at to enter into an unfamiliar industry. On top of that, it took me a really long time to find the right role and company so it got really hard maintaining a good attitude at my then current job.
Who is your favorite character a “Different World”? Whitley. Duh.
If you could do any job, what would that be? Interior designer
Who do you wish you could meet? Queen Elizabeth I & Idris Elba. Queen Elizabeth because she just seems like an amazing woman and Idris so we could get married.
What would your best friend say is the best/most annoying quality about yourself? Best would be that I’m always fun to be around and most annoying would be that I’m selfish.
What advice would you give your younger college self? Two things: “Travel” more & “More money does not equal more happiness”
