Being a debutante mom is about honoring your daughter’s accomplishments as a young woman and the excitement and joy of her entering a new chapter in life. For me, it was also about honoring our southern tradition among family and friends.

For me, the evening of the of the ball was enchanted. To see the months of planning unfold into reality was like watching a storybook come to life. as I watched her stroll across the floor, I sat there in awe wondering where my little girl with ponytails had gone.
Selecting the dress was the most intriguing. We both wanted to select an extravagant gown that complimented her style and body type looking for fullness but not fluffy, elegant but simple. After trying on several gowns, she chose a beautiful strapless ivory-colored ball gown. The top section of the bodice is gathered and encircled with three lines of Swarovski crystals. The middle circle displays intricately geometrically designed pattern.
Janie chose a silver glitter mary Jane pump with a decorative rhinestone button. the shoes were on point but comfortable.
The accessories she chose were special; Janie borrowed a family members crystal necklace and earring that complimented her taste, style, and gown.
