Virginia Louise Oden Hardesty was born in Beaufort, North Carolina. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics Education from North Carolina A&T State University in 1979. In 1984, she obtained a Masters in Business Administration from Wake Forest University. In 1998, she left the corporate world to join with her husband in the expansion of their business, Forsyth Seafood Market & Grill, as they opened their second location. Her husband, the late Charlie Hardesty, and she had started the business in 1984 and had diligently and successfully grown the business to the best seafood location in North Carolina and the east coast.
Ashley Hardesty is a resident of Winston Salem, North Carolina. She received a B.S. in Fashion Textile Management and Brand Marketing in 2013 from North Carolina State University. Since graduating, she has walked in her parenta��s restaurant footsteps and become the Co-Owner as well as Marketing and Visual Coordinator for Forsyth Seafood Market & Cafe.
With a focus on healthy living as it pertains to the food industry, Ashley in 2015 obtained the credentials of a Certified Nutritional Coach, F.N.C.from IFTA in Raleigh, North Carolina with endeavors to further her person brand, a Health and Wellness concierge service.
