The aroma from your favorite candle can transport you to another place. Certain smells can trigger personal memories, simulate emotions and arouse the senses. The same it true for a well crafted cocktail.
Aromatics from a well placed garnish can transform the entire beverage experience. Here are 2 cocktails that use the power of smell to take things up a notch.
Peninsula Tea
1.5 oz of Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka
.5 oz of Tipplemen’s Ginger Honey Syrup
.5 oz of Freshly squeezed lemon juice
Topped with Spicy Blenheim Ginger Ale
Garnished with Palmetto Rose, Lemon Wheel & Mint Sprig
Add sweet tea vodka, lemon juice and ginger honey syrup to mixing tin full of ice. Shake passionately. Pour contents into mason jar filled with ice. Top with ginger ale. Carefully place lemon, mint and rose garnish. Enjoy responsibly.
Bubbly Bliss
1.5 oz of Striped Pig Gin
.5 oz of Lemon Juice
Barspoon of Spring Berry Puree
Topped with Champagne
To prepare Spring Berry puree, place your favorite spring berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberry, etc) to a boil in a medium sauce pan. Let puree cool before adding to cocktail.
