1. Choose a Color Palette

A Coastal color palette can come from sand and surf, flowers and birds, and sunrises and

A A sunsets. We took our cues from the beautiful flamingo and tropical foliage plates.
2. Chic Not Campy
A A Be careful when selecting decor. Make selections that aren’t too contrived or artificial. We
A AAchose to forgo flamingo glasses and gold ceramic pineapples.
3. Edit, Edit, Edit
A A Remember to strike a balance with plain and fancy. If everything is special, nothing is
A AAspecial. The solid linens we used allowed the plates and floralsAto pop.
4. Naturally Pretty
A A Let natural elements take center stage by using tropical leaves to line trays and hollowed
A AAout fruit as vases. We used pineapples and sprayed them gold.
5. Mood Setting Menu
A A Be creative and use exotic fruits and edible flowers to compliment the decor. We had
A AAmacaroons baked in lush green and flamingo pink.
