Lowcountry Christmas: Oyster and Gullah Inspired Decor

The holiday season is a big deal to me and one of my favorite times of the year. I love to showcase my cultural and life experiences as a part of my holiday decor. To celebrate my lowcountry roots, I decided to do a Lowcountry Christmas with Oyster and Gullah Inspired Decor. Made a little DIY chair decor. 
I picked up this print at a local antique store displaying the local oyster man. 
Found this local print at the same antique store. Can’t get enough of this artist.
Loved placing these two pieces above my mantle. 
Had a fun time decorating my sideboard with some coastal inspiration. 
I love placing stationery throughout my house from local Gullah artists.
The holidays are better with blue crabs and a shrimp boil.
I love filling my champagne buckets with ornaments.
Created a drink tray with some of my favorite Lowcountry items.
This is one of my favorite holiday tablescapes.
Oyster season starts during holiday season and is the perfect dish to celebrate the holidays.
Have to show my HBCU pride!
