Buying gifts is fun but wrapping gifts is even better.  You should have fun and be creative when wrapping gifts but especially when the gifts are for kids.

1.       Jazz up kid’s birthday gifts with fun colored ribbon and cheerful embellishments. This will add just the perfect touch of personalization and fun. Some of my favorite embellishments to use are inexpensive ornaments from local dollar stores.  Consider using toy cars, racing tracks, miniature bags of candy or small dolls as accents on your presents.

2.       Instead of using boring gift tags try using photographs.  Pictures are great for incorporating fun family adventures your child has engaged in throughout the year.  If you want to be extra fancy use black and white photos of your kids.

3.       Incorporate kid’s artwork into your gift giving.  Even though it is fun to pick out just the right wrapping paper sometimes it is equally exciting thinking outside of the box.  Think whimsical and quirky.  Use one of your child’s drawings to wrap up their birthday present. Your child will surely be amazed at the effort and cherish this special paper even after exploring their new gift.
