The ArtsNatchez Gallery has become home for many artists, however, is not home for every African American artist in Natchez. There are a few up and coming artists that are making themselves known and working diligently in the community and some of these artists include Virgie Prichett, Tony Lucas, Catina Bernard and Marcus Frazier.

Virgie Prichett is a poet and doll maker who has a book of poetry entitled Two Minds and creates dolls for young children to enjoy or collect. Her book can be purchased on Ebay and book and handmade dolls can be purchased at the Doll Museum on 39 Edwards Road in Fayette Mississippi.

Ms. Tony Lucas and Catina Bernard are both painters in the local community that share their artwork with the Natchez community during festivals and events in the Mississippi area.  While Ms. Lucas and Ms. Bernard are sharing their paintings, Marcus Frazier  is capturing the moments of the Natchez community that should be seen by individuals across the world in order to help them understand the family-like community in Natchez.
