Formed the summer of 2020 during the uprising of Black Lives Matter and to give a voice to Black Professionals in the event planning industry, The National Society of Black Wedding & Event Professionals (NSBWEP) is the non-profit national organization by Tara Melvin. Tara Melvin is also an event planner herself. She is confident and loyal and has also seen success in the event planning sector. From Founder & Producer of The Signature CEO Conference to being included in the 2020 BizBash 500 Most Influential Event Professionals, Ms. Melvin is also a well-known event planner of Perfect Planning Events.

The NSBWEP is perfect for any wedding/event professionals who wants to build relationships with other seasoned wedding/event professional who are seeking growth opportunities or looking for reassurance and accountability in this field. Members of this specific organization are knowledgeable in all areas of event creation and can expect to learn more to grow their own business.
