Britt Franklin is the Assistant Shopping Editor for Apartment Therapy and a co-founder of Offcultured. Formerly a long-time blogger, her professional writing career began as an entertainment staff writer for Scene Magazine; and she went on to work in various facets for The Nerd Machine, The Daebak Company, and Pinterest. Currently based in Louisiana, Britt has a deep appreciation for her southern upbringing and cites the encouragement of Black women in her life as a driving force behind her own passion for creativity. Her dedication to uplifting marginalized voices has inspired her life’s work, and when she’s not spending her downtime binge-watching K-dramas, she’s jotting down notes for what she hopes will become her first novel.
