Africatown Heritage House welcomes Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) Sorority, Incorporated
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated demonstrated their support for Africatown by planting three pear trees near the bioswale on the Heritage House campus. These trees symbolize states in the South Eastern Region: Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama. Dr. Tracy Morant Adams, the Regional Director, delivered a speech during the tree planting ceremony. This collaborative effort reflects Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s commitment to working with Africatown partners.
