Dozier gave us some insight into her holiday decor and states below,

“My theme this year is “It’s A Colorful Christmas”. I paired different patterns of ribbon together and placed a vintage brooche from my collection, in the center of each bow on the tree. I made the Christmas stockings using vintage letterman’s letters and decorative trim. The stair rails are draped with garland and have faux flowers and a large ornament at each swag point. I hung wreaths on the back of the dining chairs and put a small tree with vintage ornaments on the sideboard.”

Colorful Christmas Tree: This colorful Christmas tree marries so many southern favorites. From floral inspired-bows, to chinoiserie ornaments and vintage heirloom pieces, Cheryl has edited a holiday tree that adds a touch of color to a classic southern holiday tree.

Fireplace Mantel: From colorful ribbons, sprinkles of blue and white ginger jars, and varsity-inspired holiday stockings, this mantel is the perfect combination of playful decor and holiday tradition.

From the sideboard to the china cabinet and even the walls and lighting, there are opportunities to add holiday fun to your dining room. Cheryl’s colorful space offers plenty of the inspiration you need to integrate ribbons, garland, and your favorite holiday heirlooms to your holiday gatherings.

Vintage Ornaments in Traditional Silhouettes: We adore this vignette Cheryl curated featuring chinoiserie planters and a mini holiday tree. Her vintage ornaments serve as the perfect pop of color for a traditional wood side board and add the right amount of fun to any formal dining room.

Holiday Staircase Fun: This classic pine garland adds a touch of tradition to the pink and green plaid ribbon and bold-sprinkling of candy cane-style ornaments and lush tropical-colored florals. This holiday arrangement is a perfect accent to any staircase and a way to add fun to your home.

From vintage letterman stockings to bold striped ornaments, Shelley Dozier’s holiday home decor pulls together a curated coupling of distinctive styles that work together in an orchestra of color and whimsy. Her classic home decor pairs beautifully with this colorful spin on traditional holiday style.
