Many of my family from the Lowcountry of South Carolina migrated to Philadelphia, and I often consider it a second family hometown. From the rich history of the AME Chuch, Black Arts, Music, and Food, Philadelphia is a beautiful historic city rich in Black Heritage with many connections to the Black Southern community, especially those from the Gullah Geechee corridor by way of South Carolina and Georgia.
