How did you meet?

We met through the groom’s cousin. She introduced us to each other.

How long have you dated?

We have been dating for 5 years.

How did he propose?

Jarron proposed before going on a family vacation. He invited everyone to Lindsey’s parents’ home. After explaining why he and Lindsey were late, Jarron dropped on one knee and asked Lindsey for her hand in marriage. She happily and excitedly said yes.

When did you know he was the one?

I knew Jarron was the one since our first date. We were headed to the movies. On the way to the movies, they had casual conversation. However, based on his mannerisms and just really enjoying his overall conversation, I realized I had never quite met any guy like Jarron. From that night, I knew he was the one.

What is the cutest thing he has done for you without you asking?

The cutest thing he has done for me without me asking is buying me my favorite comfort food after having a rough day. He knows that I love Twix and Doritos. Whenever I call and tell him that I have had a rough day, some how I will find my favorite candy or my favorite chips somewhere close to cheer me up.

What is something you love about him that has completely changed your life?

The thing that I love about him that has completely changed my life is how he tries not to give in when I “pout.” He tries to remain steadfast on whatever decision he has made. Sometimes, he doesn’t give in (as in give me what I want). Then, other times, he can’t resist and I end up having my way.

What part of wedding planning is making you crazy?

The part of the wedding planning that is making me crazy is finalizing the guest list. For some reason, my list just keeps getting longer and longer.

What part of wedding planning can you not live without?

I cannot live without my planner! She has been a life saver and has helped to keep me calm on many occasions.

What was your first thought the day after your engagement?

My first thought was, “I can’t believe Jarron and I are really about to be husband and wife!”

What did you love about taking engagement pictures?

I loved how intimate the session was. It was very romantic and even though we were out in the public, it seemed like it was just the two of us as we took pictures.

Who did you tell first about your engagement?

I told a few of my sorority sisters. I sent them a picture of the ring!

Are you used to the ring yet?

I would say yes, but that is not entirely true. Sometimes, I just stare at it in amazement. I still can’t believe sometimes that I am engaged.

How many times do you accidentally say girlfriend instead of fiance in a day?

Not at all. I have gotten use to saying “fiancé.”
