How did you meet? – Early College course, sociology class.
How long did you date? 6 years dating, Engaged for 2. 8 in all.
How did he propose? On the beach, on our 6 year anniversary.
When did you know he was the one? He always included me in his dreams and goals. (you guys are making me cry )
What is the cutest thing he has done for you without you asking? He’s big on cards, for random occasions he buys me cards, simply saying I love/appreciate you.
What is something you love about him that has completely changed your life? His patience, true sign of God’s grace.
What part of wedding planning is making you crazy? My Bridesmaids, I had 10 of them so keeping them on the same page was not easy. AT ALL.
What part of wedding planning can you not live without? PINTEREST! . Countless nights on Pinterest.
What was your first thought the day after your engagement? Oh my gosh, is my mom ready for this.
What was your favorite part about the ceremony? Seeing how many people came to support us. it was heartwarming. I’m so grateful.
What was your favorite part about the wedding? The reception, seeing all my hard work come into play, I felt really proud of myself.
What did you love about Jekyll Island? How secluded it was, so soothing. So peaceful.
How long did it take you to find your dress? 3-4 Months.
What was your process for picking a venue? I’ve always wanted something on the beach, It’s my favorite place, so I just researched places that would fit my budget and give me the amazing look I was going for. Took me almost a year. wowzers.
Did you do any DIY? If so, what? – My wedding was DIY, I did it myself because I was so full of ideas, and I’m a perfectionist and I knew I wanted it to be completely my way. ☺

What is your favorite part about being married to each other? I enjoy now, our new home and making it ours, planning our future, as one.
What did you learn about each other through the wedding planning process? I learned how much of a maniac I can be. I never knew, weddings bring out a different side of you, I’m still convinced I was possessed. lol. I also learned how patient he was, he never lost his head, no matter what my mood, reactions where (sporadic) he always kept cool and reminded me “Everything will be ok”.
