African American Holiday Traditions: Black Santa in Upstate, SC

With the holidays in full swing, holiday decor is up for most. But we know some of you need a little inspiration and this Black Santa collection is exactly what you need.   Today, We are featuring the beautiful Black Santa collection of Pontheolla Mack Abernathy, Owner of the Historic Clevedale Inn & Gardens

According to Pontheolla,  “When I  first started to collect Black Santas, it was in an effort to teach my Godchildren that Santa, like God, is the Santa/God you have concurred up in your mind. “It’s personal!”

She also goes on to say, “At the same time, I wanted to collect items that might increase in value. Thus I collected signed and numbered figurines. I started with Ciothique by Possible Dreams LTD, Sarah’s Attic, Pecan Shell Collectibles by Wood World Inc., and the Constance Collection.”
