What are you looking forward to about being a mom?
Being able to experience those priceless moments where my son will look at me, and I know he loves me unconditionally. Not to mention just building memories and watching him grow.
What do you #love about the idea being a mother in the south?
God, family, football and of course, #southern food.
Why did you choose this location to do the family photo shoot?
We wanted something unique and fun.
What lessons do you hope to instill in your child?
To always put God first, and treat others the way you want to be treated.
What southern activities do you remember doing with your mom that you look forward to doing with your child?
Lots of cooking.
What have you learned about yourself while going through your pregnancy?
That I need to have things planned out. There’s no way around it. I have become a list person.
What advice would you give a #southern mom thinking about starting a family?
Having a great support system around you is so important. Even on your worst days, you’ll have someone to talk to. Being southern, family is EVERYTHING!
What special things does your husband do to help you through your pregnancy?
He listens to my random rants, and lets me give into my cravings for sweets from time to time.
What was your first reaction to finding out about your pregnancy?
I kind of had a idea that I was so I was excited, but it also felt very surreal.
What things does your husband look forward to doing as a new father?
Playing football when the times comes. Mostly just enjoying his son an our new family unit.
What southern values do you hope they inherit as they grow up?
To love the Lord and put his family first, while also being an honest upstanding citizen.
What advice did you get from your mother on parenting?
To take it one day at a time. Most impotantly, in times of trouble or uncertainty, look to God for help and understanding.
Have you read any books  on parenting?
No I have not read any at all.
