Nashville knows how to do weddings and our TN bred couple, Morey and Durant put on one of the best. This classically southern wedding had all the details you can handle and then some. With a fun travel theme infused into everything (including the programs) and a modern location, the Bridges All Over the World wedding is one you won’t want to miss. This couple’s wedding looks just as fun and happy as their romance story. Learn more about this Tennessee love story.

How did you meet?
my best friend (matron of honor) introduced us
How long did you date?
2.5 years
How did he propose?
You must read their beautiful engagement story here.
When did you know he was the one?
I knew after our first date. It literally lasted 8 hours. We talked and laughed all night closing a few restaurants and a bar. I remember thinking that I’d never spent that much time talking to a stranger.
What is the cutest thing he has done for you without you asking?
He always surprises me. Our entire honeymoon was a surprise. He carefully (and secretly) planned the amazing details for months.
What is something you love about him that has completely changed your life?
He treats everyone with genuine respect. He starts every phone conversation (even when calling to make dinner reservations) with “Hi, how are you doing today?” In the hectic pace of our world, it’s nice for someone to stop and ask how another person’s day is going.
What part of wedding planning made you crazy?
Getting the slightest details just right
What part of wedding planning can you not live without?
My day of coordinator!
What was your first thought the day after your engagement? Did that just happen?
I really wasn’t expecting a proposal for at least another year (once he finished school)
What was your favorite part about the ceremony?
Our vows and the fact that neither of us could stop smiling
What was your favorite part about the wedding?
Watching our huge families embrace each other…and the FOOD
Did you do any DIY? If so, what?
I worked with a stationery company to design the paper aspects of our wedding invitations, but I added the “flare” to them myself. Durant and I also put together the Nashville welcome bags for our out of town guests.
What were your wedding colors?
Coral and rose gold/different hues of gold
What was your wedding theme?
Travel
What is your favorite part about being married to each other?
Spending time together
What did you learn about each other through the wedding planning process?
I learned that he would fill in the gaps whenever he saw I needed him. He designed our website, save-the-dates and thank you cards
