Colorful Holiday Tablescape Inspiration from Atlanta Tastemaker
Tablescape Theme: Don’t be afraid to try something different for your holiday theme. Especially when it comes to color. Shelly states “As with the tree decor I used the theme of color and pattern mixing with w hint of animal print which is the trending pattern for fall and winter.”
Centerpiece Fun: A bold centerpiece is a great way to add personality to your holiday tablescape. Shelly describes her unique centerpiece here, “The centerpiece is a flower arrangement in a vintage swan planter. I flanked the swan with a variety of candleholders.”
Vintage Placesettings: Who doesn’t love a touch of vintage for a curated tablescape, especially when you have all of that holiday nostalgia? Dozier-Mckee explains her placesetting designs and sourcing as “The placesettings are a mix of family China and vintage pieces. The green Bordello Phinerio plates were an estate sale find, the white plates are my mom and dad’s wedding china (over 65 years old) and the red plates are from a thrift store.”
Dressing Your Chairs: Looking for an easy way to add bold holiday style to your dining room? You should try dressing your chairs. Shelly’s expert tells us how she achieved these looks and states, “I accented the back of each chair with a small wreath, ribbon bow and placed a vintage brooch in the center of the bow. The chandelier is decked out with greenery, ornaments and ribbon.
