Loved this article. Brings back memories of watching my three older sisters getting ready to go to football games and parties back in the sixties.

The picture of the women at the HBCU football game may have been in the 1920’s. I was looking at those hats the ladies were wearing and that’s what
made me think that it might have been that era. Ladies don’t dress like that going to sports events anymore. That would be considered over dressing
      these days.

Love this work! I’ve always wanted to go to a black owned dude ranch or cattle drive. There used to be a ranch owned by famous blacks but doesn’t seem to be around anymore.
