HBCU Gala Inspiration: Tuskegee University Inauguration of Dr. Lily D. McNair

We love HBCUs at Black Southern Belle. Today we are highlighting the beautiful design of the Tuskegee University Inauguration. This event was full of HBCU Gala Inspiration and a proud representation for the Tuskegee Tigers. Check out the beautiful images of the inauguration of the 8th President of Tuskegee University, Dr. Lily D. McNair, who is also the 1st female president of the University. Be sure to share images of your HBCU events with us using the hashtag #blacksouthernbelle

HBCU Gala Inspiration: Tuskegee University Inauguration

Such a beautiful custom welcome sign for the VIP reception. We love the linens on the high top tables with the palm trees flanking the entrance.

Nothing says southern like an estate table in the middle of the gala. We adore the red roses and traditional gold vessels holding the flowers to match the Tuskegee University colors.

Less is more for this simple yet elegant tablescape featuring a red rose, gold chargers and clear wine glasses.

We adore these elegant yet bold table numbers paired with eye height rose bouquets and gold centerpieces.

The gold table linens and drapes paired with the rose floral arrangements is a perfect balance to the hotel ballroom.

Gold chiavari chairs with white padded seats were a classic choice for this HBCU gala.
