Easter is almost here and that means it is time to start planning that dessert table. From the menu items to the decor, I love a great dessert table and Easter is one of my favorite holidays. I was inspired to create this Easter dessert table from some local sugarcane I picked up from a friend in Beaufort, SC. Check out my tips on how to set an Easter dessert table inspired by Sugarcane.
How to Set an Easter Dessert Table Inspired by Sugarcane
Sweet Potatoe Pie
My grandfather’s favorite lazy meal was baking sweet potatoes in the oven and it was something I taught my dear husband who cannot cook to do the same. There is something special about oven-roasted sweet potatoes that elicits so much nostalgia. Always a must for a dessert table.
Pecan Pound Cake
Have so many childhood memories of pecans and pound cake. Nothing is better than merging the two!
Pecan Roll
There is something so southern about dessert rolls from the grocery store and this one is perfection.
Church Fans
Don’t be afraid to use church fans in your home decor. I love placing these as a display over my Easter table.
Unqiue Centerpieces
Don’t be afraid to use unique items for your centerpieces like sugarcane or even lemons.
Floral Table Linens
Spring always makes me think of flowers and specifically helping my mom with her rose gardens. I love this vintage floral pattern and thought it was a perfect item to pair with a dessert table as it reminds me of cotton candy and coconut cake.
Colorful and Unique Dishware
Nothing makes me happier than thrifting great china and dishware and I want with an eclectic look for this table. I think dessert tables can be fun and easy and most of all enjoyed.
