Mix and Match:
Reed gives this advice on Mixing and Matching: “My holiday decorating tips would be to keep base of your decor and colors traditional. By keeping your decor’s base traditional, you are able to mix, match and add to it each year. “
This holiday mantel is absolutely stunning and a perfect look for a traditional decor enthusiast.
Incorporating Into Your Style:
Reed advises “Also don’t be afraid to add traditional holiday colors to a room, even if it doesn’t match, you would simply incorporate that color in to your decor. You would just add the right shade of red or green; like adding a darker red and silver to a room that is turquoise. However, you can add non-traditional and contemporary statement pieces to add the wow factor. “
Holiday Warmth:
Nothing says holiday hospitality like add a little warmth to your home. Reed explains “Add warmth to your home, such as throws, pillows, holiday books, holiday scented candles, and baskets (filled with throws or holiday socks) to welcome your guest, throughout the holidays. “

You can never have enough pillows and adding holiday comfort to a bedroom or a guest suite is a great way to add holiday hospitality.
