Hotel Emeline is the most beautiful hotel that I’ve stayed at. It’s aesthetically pleasing, the food options are amazing and the room…THE ROOM. It’s the size of a small one bedroom apartment. It’s tucked away on Church street in the heart of the Market. I loved everything about the Emeline and I cannot wait to share my 5 favorite things with you!
On the first night of my stay I was treated to dinner at Frannie and the Fox. I’ve heard so much about their world famous Crab bites and Meatballs so I had to give those a try. The outside dining was beautiful to watch, along with the fireplace that keeps guests cozy and warm while they wait on their food. Dinner was exactly what I needed to help me keep my mind off of the election night madness.
Hotel Emeline has record players in every room with an extensive record collection to choose from. I haven’t played records since my mom got rid of her record player, after using hotel Emeline’s I will definitely be adding a record player to my Christmas wish list. The music filled up the room and it filled up my spirit!
Breakfast at the Clerk was perfect! Another example of a light but filling breakfast to get your day started. I opted out of the coffee for a delicious bottle of orange juice and a freshly baked french toast muffin. I promise you it was as delicious as it sounded. Also, thank you to the amazing staff member that captured this picture for me!
Who doesn’t love personalization? I was greeted with delicious chocolate truffles and a personalized card welcoming me to hotel Emeline. The most fascinating part was the Emeline seal. Once again, who doesn’t love personalization.
The room was amazing, it’s spacious like a 1 bedroom apart with all the amenities. I loved traveling from the living room to the bedroom in my cozy robe. Also, the room has so many picture perfect locations with the view overlooking Frannie and the Fox. It was the perfect blend of modernization with a southern charm flair.
Overall my stay at Hotel Emeline was a 10/10! It’s located in the heart of the market, the staff is beyond accommodating, the room literally makes you not want to leave and the food is delicious. If you’re traveling to Charleston or taking a well needed staycation I would highly recommend the Emeline. Black women deserve luxury too!
