What is the most challenging professional obstacle you have had?
How would you describe your personal style? Rustic glam. I love to dress up in stilettos and midi skirts but I also love my monogram sweatshirts and joggers with chuck taylors or my legging and Hunter boots !

What do you love about blogging? –
I love the fact that I’m helping other people and offering practical ways for women to use their gifts and talents to take care of their families. It really blows my mind that people actually love my blog and really think that I have something interesting to say!
Where did you get the name for your blog?
Well first I prayed for direction and then I just began to think about the countless things that I do in my life. I am first and foremost a homemaker. It’s what I’ve always been and I count it an honor ! I thought about the many things I do as a homemaker and the countless things I’ve learned over the years as a result of that. After I began to list the different things I do, I said to myself “ wow girl you do a bunch ! “ So I didn’t want the blog just to be about me, but me helping other women to succeed in taking care of their homes and families
What is your favorite southern dish?
Macaroni and cheese ! I always get the task of bringing it to family dinners.
What are some of your favorite southern vacation spots?
I love Myrtle and Virginia Beach, I also love the state of Texas. These are some of my absolute favorite spots.
What are your favorite southern clothing or home decor brands?
I do love monograms, I’m not really sure how southern they are lol ! I love southern living.
What do you love about being a southern mom?
The traditions are what I love. We have so many traditions as a family that we have started. One of my aunts wrote and published a cookbook that has recipes in it from my grandmother. I love passing things like the recipes that have been in my family for years down to my children. I love that love to cook, even my son! I tell him one day you’re going to be married and she will have your child, you need to know how to do some things too!
What southern magazines do you have to read?
I love Southern Living and Better Homes and Gardens. To me I believe they encompass not only decorating and design but a sense of tradition and family that I really like.
What do you love about southern style?
It’s timeless and classic. Its also warm, inviting and very hospitable.
