How I Stay Creative During Covid-19
As a creative I am always on the hunt for inspiration. That didn’t have to stop for me just because I am staying safe at home. Inspiration is all around me in my little apartment.
My home is covered in bold colors and happy works of art. The colors in my home greatly inspire a lot of my art. Jewel and earthy tones are almost always involved in my paintings. Incorporating colors that I love into my home and my artwork fills me with joy. It makes it so much easier to stay at home when you are in love with the space around you.
I have been blessed to be able to travel so much, which is another thing that gives me inspiration… even during stay at home orders. My love for traveling combined with my love for fun colors really inspired the painted globes that I recently released.

The stay at home order has given me time to look back through pictures of all the colors and sights that I’ve seen and translate my feelings for them into a work of art. The bright colors of Italian towns, the colorful summer sunsets in Alaska and the black sand beaches in Iceland are just a few of the places that inspired my latest series.
