Trail Ride Dances From TikTok We Love

Trail Rides have been a huge event connecting people of the south with cowboy/agricultural roots. Something that I love about being a southern belle is having the ability to turn any shoes into dancing shoes. At the end of the trail rides or during breaks, people have turned to TikTok to show us some line dances that make us want to just put our boots on the ground.

Zydeco Stomp includes traditional Trail Ride rhymes that make people groove and stomp to the beat. That harmonica humming the blues paired with the sounds of boots stomping the dirt creates an alluring ancestral melody that is music to my ears.

Country Girl line dance is a fun Trail Ride dance that makes anybody want to move their body. The dance incorporates stomps, swings, slides, and dips all in appreciation of our southern country girls.

Sailing Line Dance is for those who love those old-time swing songs. The line dance is easy to learn and fun to do, while you catch the beat, do your two-step, and go sailing!

We in the Backyard is a fun Trail Ride dance that gets people up on their feet. The line dance depicts union and celebration in a zydeco style, boot thumping step.

Boots on the Ground is a very popular Trail Ride dance. When the beat drops, people typically recognize the infamous line, “Where them fans at?” And hit the floor. People bring their fan, whistles, grab their buckles, and let their boots hit the ground in a rather simple frolic.
