Valentine’s Day is also my wedding anniversary and what better way to celebrate than with a throwback to one of the first Black Southern Belle photoshoots. This shoot is one of my favorites and a perfect place to get inspiration for
Valentine’s Day Party: Celebrating My Anniversary with Spring Party Inspiration
The more color the better. I adored this blue and white color combination of this shoot. Perfect for an outdoor dinner party or a vibrant weekend brunch.
Mantels are not just for the fall or the holidays. Don’t be afraid to go all out for a spring mantel. The season is full of greenery and fresh floral so use that to your advantage. Pair with candles and even some appetizers or desserts for a unique dining and decor experience for your guests.
I am always a fan of mixing china and flatware styles. These modern gold forks pair beautifully with the classic blue and white china and modern white accent plates/bowls. A simple orange linen napkin is the perfect way to accompany the bold linen.
You can’t have a spring party without an outdoor garden lounge. If you don’t have outdoor furniture, don’t be afraid to pull some of your living room pieces outside for a bold look that will keep your guests comfy.
Champagne and desserts make any day better, especially Valentine’s Day. Love this cake from Swank Desserts!
Don’t have room for a buffet or sideboard, use your window sill as a dessert bar. It will draw your guests to another area in your room and the desserts will look great in the natural light.
