According to Kalyn:

“Are you hoping to get your wedding invitations squared away ahead of schedule? Thinking about hiring a graphic designer to create a bespoke wedding suite just for you and your beau?  Fantastic, but before you have that initial meeting or consultation, here are 3 tips on that will make this process go smoothly.”

  • Know your style: When working with another person, no matter what the project, know your style! Knowing the look and feel that you want for your big day, will help the designer execute your vision to the best of his or her ability.
  • Give as much detail as possible: Giving as much detail as possible (wording, dates, times, locations, names, and spelling) helps the designer work as efficiently as possible which in turn, helps with deadlines.
  • Be clear and concise: Knowing your overall look and providing all the necessary details from the start creates space for open communication between you and your designer. Plus room and time for any additions or edits.
