According to Victoria her blog is “a hodge podge of things that occur in my life as the preppy wife to my wonderful husband. I’d like to think of myself as a Stepford Wife with a modern wink and mostly that just means that I don’t cook.”

This polka dot desk is beyond precious especially paired with the aqua blue rattan chair covered in black and white striped fabric. A perfect example of Kate Spade office style.

This living area is truly cozy. From the classic Persian rug to the warm wood floors and classic brass shelves, this is definitely a room to spend time with the ones you love.

This guest room is full of style. From the bold prints to the blue and white antique chandelier, this space is full of preppy style.

This antique gold trimmed desk pairs perfectly with the white cane back chair creating the perfect space for guests to catch up on work or just watch Netflix for the night.

As self proclaimed homebody, Victoria lives by this mantra, ” I’m about God, my husband (who cleverly gave this blog its name), my giant dogs Remus and Sirius, oh and also Harry Potter”

We adore this bold patterned tile paired with natural jute rugs and gold kitchen hardware. Such a fun kitchen perfect for lots of southern entertaining, family memories and good food.

This breakfast nook is classic preppy style. From the bamboo shades to the cafe chairs, this classically styled room looks like the perfect place to host Sunday brunch or read a book.

We love the use of an antique dresser or shelf to create more kitchen storage and it is also a fun play on open shelving.

The humidity in the south causes lots of rain and there is no better way than to style your home than with Hunters and buck boots.

A fun print is a great way to add some fun to your open shelving. We love this antique map in blue and white against the subway tiles.

Wallpaper is definitely in and this classic black and white gingham pattern is a bold yet preppy look that will be in style for years to come and adds the perfect backdrop for bold details and colorful art.

This geometric patterned rug paired with the green and white striped comforter adds dimension to a relaxing master suite.

This preppy cloth bench is a perfect place to stack your favorite items such as vintage books and suitcases not to mention it looks great against woven loafers.

We love Victoria’s style and if you want to see more be sure to head to her website at and follow her adventures on Instagram at @prepfordwife.
