Where From?
I’m a New Jersey native, but, I have lived in Philadelphia for 10 years. I relocated to Charleston in March of 2015 to launch

I’m a graduate of New Jersey City University in Jersey City, New Jersey (That name is so redundant, right?) I earned my degree in English and Political Science.

What do you do?
Years ago, many years ago, I started out working as a staffer/assistant speechwriter for the New Jersey Secretary of State’s office. Most recently, I’ve worked as a retail executive with both Target and Trader Joe’s. Upon relocating to South Carolina last Spring, I gave that all up to pursue my dreams of being a fulltime entrepreneur.

What’s your connection to Charleston?
My father is a native Charlestonian and both he and my mother retired here in the mid late 1990’s. I actually had to complete my final 3 years of high school right here in the lowcountry when I was younger (St. Andrews Parish H.S. which no longer exists). So I have roots here. I now reside on Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina.

What is is a discovery platform that’s designed to inspire folks to live their best lives at home. I want to share the best names in Charleston Home Design, Renovation, Remodeling and etc. with the rest of the world. I’m fortunate to live in city that has become a bastion of creativity, technology, innovation and art. There is so much people should learn about Charleston and I hope to be one of the city’s best story tellers! I want to show people how cool it is to live here or make a home here.

What’s your goal for PV?
I set out to inspire my readers. Pure and simple. For me, creating a great home environment is very important. A happy, healthy home brightens your mood, allows for great gatherings at the ol’ homestead and can be a source of pride. Everyone should have a home that they are proud of. Large or small. Owned or leased, you deserve to live beautifully. Hopefully, can help with that.
