We are all about casual southern entertaining in the Lowcountry and we recently got to host a classic Lowcountry event during the Southern Style Now Festival in Charleston, SC. This was one of our favorite events of the year and we are excited to show images of the event below along with some tips for casual entertaining. Be sure to have a sign to show off the title of your event at the front door or on the front porch. 

 

An interactive bar experience is a great way to add a fun element to your guests. We loved the Cocktail Bandits signature drinks full of lowcountry hospitality.

 

Place pre-made drinks and cocktails around the room to create areas for guests to talk and mingle throughout the home.

 

Seafood is always a great addition to a Lowcountry party.

 

Macarons are always a stylish touch to any event.

 

Place food in a stylish cup or container for a simple, easy to clean look.

 

Be sure to include signage for names of food and other pertinent details.
Garnish your appetizers with fresh herbs for added taste and style.
Encourage guests to share photos of the event and make a hashtag to find them on social media
Create a signature cocktail based on simple fresh ingredients

Add floral arrangments throughout the home and don’t be afraid to add some color

Be sure to add your favorite coffee table books to add for a conversation point with your guests

Above all else, enjoy your guests with tons of smiles and hugs.

Sauces are a great way to add custom flavors to your food for your guests.

Create a bar area using a bar using a folding table and unique fabrics along with your favorite drinkware and a unique bowl for ice.

Show off your favorite family photos and heirlooms to your guests and be sure to ask them about their family memories.
