We are all about casual southern entertaining in the Lowcountry and we recently got to host a classic Lowcountry event during the Southern Style Now Festival in Charleston, SC. Lowcountry, High Cuisine: Tips for Casual Southern Entertaining
Be sure to have a sign to show off the title of your event at the front door or on the front porch.
Place pre-made drinks and cocktails around the room to create areas for guests to talk and mingle throughout the home.
Add floral arrangments throughout the home and don’t be afraid to add some color
Be sure to add your favorite coffee table books to add for a conversation point with your guests
Sauces are a great way to add custom flavors to your food for your guests.
Create a bar area using a bar using a folding table and unique fabrics along with your favorite drinkware and a unique bowl for ice.
Show off your favorite family photos and heirlooms to your guests and be sure to ask them about their family memories.
