Why did you decide to start a business?
I’d always done graphic design on the side as a hobby, and after dealing with another nightmare employer, I decided it was the universe’s way of telling me I needed to start working for myself and I haven’t regretted it once!
Before you owned a business, what did you do?
Administrative work
What is your favorite client story?
Once I traded a logo for wine and chocolate, it doesn’t sound like much, but bartering is definitely an added benefit to the job!
What is the most important thing you have done to build your business?
Paid more attention to social media! I’ve gone from a post every 3 months, to hardly ever updating my personal accounts!
Who are some of your business idols?

What is your favorite thing about being southern?
The food. All decisions in my family are made over food.
What is your favorite southern entrees or sides?
Does hummingbird cake count as a side? My grandmother makes it for me for birthdays or other special occasions and it’s the best cake I’ve ever had.

black, gold, & mauve. navy, cream, & rose.
What do you love at southern stationery?
Monograms and lace!
What is your favorite item or piece of clothing to wear/use while doing business?
Heels! I’m only 5’2, so the extra height makes me feel like Wonder Woman, and I can do anything I set my mind to.
